This is the classic South African holiday without a safari. You spend three nights in Cape Town, with the mountain, the Peninsula and the Winelands, then travel along the coast to the Garden Route for three nights near Plettenberg Bay.

It is a gentle, scenic trip for couples and families, and it can be extended with a few nights in the bush at either end.

Highlights

  • Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula
  • A day in the Winelands
  • Three nights at the Belmond Mount Nelson
  • Three nights at Hunters Country House
  • The forest, lagoon and beach of the Garden Route
