Overview

This coastal route adds Hermanus to the Garden Route, so that between June and November you can watch southern right whales from your balcony. You spend two nights in Cape Town, two at Birkenhead House on the cliffs above the bay, and three at The Plettenberg, above Lookout Beach.

Every stop has the sea in view, and the drives between them are short and scenic.
