Overview

Nyerere, the old Selous, gives you three ways to see the wild in one short trip: by vehicle, on foot and by boat. The Rufiji River and its lakes are full of hippo and crocodile, and the park is one of the last strongholds of the African wild dog.

Roho ya Selous sits on the shore of Lake Nzerakera in the richest part of the park. It is a short flight from Dar es Salaam.
