Overview

Botswana is a wonderful country for a family safari, because the camps are small, the guides are patient, and every day offers something different: a mokoro through the reeds, a meerkat on your shoulder, a boat among hippos, a game drive among lions.

This twelve-day route keeps the flights short, uses camps with space for families, and gives children their own tracking and bush skills with the guides. Many camps have minimum ages, which we confirm for each child when you enquire.

Highlights

  • Mokoro and boat safaris in the Okavango Delta
  • Lions and wild dog at Khwai
  • Habituated meerkats at the Makgadikgadi
  • Quad bikes on the pans
  • Boat cruises and elephants on the Chobe River
