Overview

This is the full southern route. You begin in Cape Town, drive the coast to the Garden Route for three nights, continue to the elephants of Addo for three more, and finish with a night in Cape Town before your flight home.

It combines city, coast and bush in a malaria-free trip, so it is a good choice for families and for anyone who would rather avoid prophylaxis.

Highlights

  • Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula
  • Three nights at Hunters Country House on the Garden Route
  • Three nights at Gorah Elephant Camp at Addo
  • Elephants and the Big Five, malaria-free
  • A last night at Ellerman House
