Tarangire is often skipped on the way to the Serengeti, which is a mistake. In the dry season it holds some of the largest elephant herds in Africa, and its ancient baobabs make it one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania.
Tarangire Treetops sits in a private concession on the park’s boundary, where you can walk and drive after dark. Every room is a treehouse built around a living baobab or marula.
