Laikipia and Lewa are the best of Kenya’s private conservancies. The land is wild and uncrowded, and the guides can take you off the road, on foot, and out after dark in ways the national parks do not allow.
You stay two nights at Loisaba, with its walks and night drives, and two at Lewa, where black and white rhinos and the rare Grevy’s zebra live. Short flights link the camps and the capital.
