Overview

The Okavango Delta is a flood that spreads across the desert and turns it into a maze of channels, lagoons and islands. The best way to see it is on the water, gliding in a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, with a guide standing at the back.

Three nights at &Beyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp give you mokoro trips, boat trips and walks on the islands, with elephants, hippos and lions close at hand.

Highlights

  • Mokoro safaris through the channels
  • Boat trips and walks on the islands
  • Elephants, hippos and lions
  • Three nights at &Beyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
  • A short flight from Maun
