Overview

The Kafue is huge and wonderfully empty. From a solar-powered lodge on the river, explore by boat, on foot and by vehicle, often without seeing another guest.

It is a place for travellers who want wildness above all, and a camp that puts its community at the centre.

Highlights

  • Leopard and lion in a vast wilderness
  • Sable and roan antelope
  • Boat trips on the Kafue River
  • A lodge with strong community work
