Overview

Chobe is home to the largest elephant herds in Africa, and the best way to see them is from the river. In the dry season hundreds come down to drink, with buffalo, hippos and crocodiles beside them.

Two nights at Chobe Game Lodge, on the riverbank, give you boat cruises at sunset and game drives along the shore, in a short safari that is easy to add to Victoria Falls.
