Overview

This is the shortest way to see two of northern Tanzania’s best-known places. Lake Manyara is a forest and lake park under the Rift Valley escarpment, with hippos, flamingos and big troops of baboons. Ngorongoro is the world’s largest unbroken caldera, and its floor is home to black rhinos, lions and large herds.

One night at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, set in the forest, makes a short trip that feels like a real safari.
