Overview

Uganda’s Big Five are spread across the country rather than gathered in one park, so this safari moves with them: white rhinos on foot at Ziwa, lion, elephant and buffalo along the Nile at Murchison and across the plains of Kidepo, and the Ishasha lions in the fig trees of Queen Elizabeth.

Flights over the long northern roads, and a flight home from Kihihi, put your time into the parks. Leopards are the shy fifth, and your guides know where to look.

Highlights

  • Southern white rhinos on foot at Ziwa
  • Launch trip to the foot of Murchison Falls
  • Game drives in the Narus Valley at Kidepo
  • Launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel
  • The Ishasha lions in the fig trees
  • Flights that keep the long roads out of your trip
