Overview

This route shows the two faces of Namibia: the dry desert and the green river country in the north-east. You begin at the red dunes of Sossusvlei, fly to Etosha for the black rhinos and waterholes, and then to the Zambezi Region for four nights on the Chobe River, with boat safaris among elephants and hippos.

Flights link all three, so your time goes on game drives and on the water, and Victoria Falls is a short day trip from the river.

Highlights

  • The red dunes of Sossusvlei
  • Black rhinos and waterholes at Etosha
  • Boat safaris on the Chobe River among elephants and hippos
