Overview

This short honeymoon pairs two of East Africa’s great experiences. You begin in the Masai Mara with game drives and a sunrise balloon flight, then fly to Uganda for a day with a habituated mountain gorilla family in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Bush flights keep the road time low, so most of your days are spent on the safari itself. The last full day is quiet: either a walk with the Batwa or a canoe trip on Lake Mutanda.

Highlights

  • Big Five game drives in the Masai Mara
  • Sunrise balloon flight and bush breakfast
  • Mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi, with an hour beside a silverback family
  • Couples massage at your lodge
  • Batwa cultural walk or a dugout canoe trip on Lake Mutanda
