Overview

This is the full northern circuit at an easy pace. You travel by road through Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro, and then spend two nights in the Serengeti, with an optional dawn balloon ride over the plains, and fly back to Arusha.

It is the route we recommend to most first-time visitors to Tanzania, because each stop is different and the pace allows time for each.

  • A night in the forest at Lake Manyara
  • Ngorongoro Crater
  • Two nights in the central Serengeti
