Overview

The Makgadikgadi feels like another planet. By day you sit among a colony of habituated meerkats, walk with Zu/’hoasi guides who read the land as others read a book, and follow the zebra migration across green grassland.

Nights at Jack’s Camp are pure romance, with Persian rugs under canvas, candlelight and a sky so clear you will want to stay up late.

Highlights

  • Close time with habituated meerkats
  • Walk with Zu/'hoasi bushmen
  • The zebra and wildebeest migration (December to April)
  • Quad bikes and a sleep-out on the pans (dry season)
