Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest national park and, for many people, its most dramatic. The whole weight of the Nile squeezes through a gap in the rock and explodes into the gorge below, and downstream the river is thick with hippo, crocodile and birdlife.
On the way north we stop at Ziwa to walk with white rhino, the only place in Uganda to see them. Two nights on the riverbank give you a full day of game drives and a boat ride to the foot of the falls.
