Overview

This is a slower, deeper way to see Kenya. You begin with the misty forest of the Aberdares, spend two nights each at Ol Pejeta and Lewa for the rhinos, and finish with three nights in the Mara.

The camps are small, the drives between them are short or flown, and the last days at the Mara River are unhurried.

Highlights

  • Night viewing at The Ark in the Aberdares
  • Black and white rhinos at Ol Pejeta and Lewa
  • Grevy’s zebra and other northern species
  • Three nights in the Mara at Governors’ Camp
  • Flights that keep the long roads out of the trip
