Overview

This safari covers the full range of Kenya’s landscapes by light aircraft, so you spend your energy on the wildlife, not on dusty roads. You begin in Nairobi, then fly north to the dry riverine country of Samburu, across to the rhino conservancy of Ol Pejeta, down to the Rift Valley at Lake Naivasha, and finish in a private concession in the Masai Mara.

Each stop feels different, from the Samburu Special Five and the last northern white rhinos to hippo cruises and walks on Crescent Island, and a sunrise balloon flight over the Mara.

Highlights

  • The Samburu Special Five along the Ewaso Nyiro River
  • Ol Pejeta: black rhino, night drives and the last two northern white rhinos
  • Boat cruise and walking safari on Crescent Island, Lake Naivasha
  • Private Mara conservancy stay with off-road drives and bush dinners
  • Sunrise balloon flight over the Mara (migration July to October)
