Overview

This honeymoon puts two countries side by side. In Uganda you spend a week with the primates: a chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale, the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha and a day with mountain gorillas in Bwindi. You then fly to Nairobi and carry on to Kenya for Amboseli and the Masai Mara, with a sunrise balloon flight over the plains.

Scenic flights replace the longest road transfers, and each stop includes time for the two of you.

Highlights

  • Chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale, a half day with a research group
  • Tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector and a Kazinga Channel boat cruise
  • Mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi
  • Amboseli elephants beneath Kilimanjaro, with a Maasai village visit
  • Sunrise balloon flight over the Masai Mara
