Overview

This route links two of the most different places in Botswana. The Delta is water: channels, lagoons and floodplains. The Makgadikgadi is its opposite: a vast salt pan, with meerkats, quad bikes and a horizon that goes on forever.

Two nights at &Beyond Xaranna, then two at Jack’s Camp, with flights between them, give you the Delta by mokoro and the pans on foot and by quad bike.

Highlights

  • Mokoro and boat safaris in the Okavango Delta
  • Habituated meerkats at the Makgadikgadi
  • Quad biking and walks on the pans
  • Two nights at &Beyond Xaranna and two at Jack’s Camp
  • Flights between all three places
