Overview

This is the most complete short Kenya route: Ol Pejeta for rhinos, Samburu for the dry north, Lake Nakuru for rhinos and flamingos, and the Mara for the big cats.

It is mostly by road, with several long drives, and a flight from the Mara on the last day brings you home without another long road day.

Highlights

  • Black and white rhinos at Ol Pejeta
  • The Samburu Special Five and river elephants
  • Rhinos and birdlife at Lake Nakuru
  • Game drives for the big cats in the Mara
  • Flight home from the Mara
